Ain't Nuthin' But A Free Thang, Baaaaabay

In other words, it's my favorite day of the month:  Super Double Coupon Day!

Because in my little world, where I pretty much live a Groundhog Day lifestyle, scoring free stuff adds a punch of excitement to my otherwise uneventful days.

Not everything I bought was free today, but I did manage to score three things of yogurt, two packages of shredded cheese and three bottles of 'buttery spray' for free.  Word to the wise:  don't read the ingredient list on the 'buttery spray' bottle.  A little bit scary.  BUT the 'buttery spray' does make broccoli taste extra delicious.

A few of the items I bought cost a mere .50 each, which is pretty exciting, as well.

I have no idea why I bought that  Philadelphia Cooking Creme, besides the .50 price, that is.

oh, and some toothpaste, too.

We'll need it, after eating that sugar laden crunchy nut cereal.

Mmmm.  I love cereal.

Have I ever mentioned that before?

I could probably eat cereal for all three meals and never grow weary of it.  I love cinnamon Life and Quaker oatmeal squares.  Ooh, and Frosted Flakes.  Man, I really love Frosted Flakes. Oooh, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.  And Golden Grahams!  But, they get soggy too fast; they're better dry.  When I was pregnant with Caroline, I ate a bowl of Apple Jacks (or it's off brand counterpart) every afternoon.

I even like healthy cereal.  Even the kind that looks like cat food.

Anyway, as you can see, today was an especially exciting day.

I'd tell you more about my shopping trip, but I have to go pick Caroline up from school.

I'm sure you're all heartbroken about that.  :)

When I was Employee of the Month at McDonalds I got to eat free every time I worked. Does this mean you'll get a free newspaper?

Oreo cereal. Um yes. Way good. Oh, and Rice Krispie Treats cereal. Holy yum.

Congratulations on your haul! I love double coupon day. Although I am not sure the cashiers love me... Oh, well it means more money for fun shoes and IKEA :)
