Trees may be blooming in spring-like fashion; cars are covered in yellow pollen; I'm sneezing like a crazy person, thanks to those fetching, yet havoc-wreaking blooming buds of doom. Unfortunately that comfortable, mild spring-like climate we all know and love has been replaced with some pretty high temperatures. Yesterday we saw the mercury rise to around 90 degrees and I think today is following suit. Although, I haven't checked with Caroline, my source for all-knowing, accurate weather details.
It's April 7th and I may be in full-on spring allergy mode, but popsicles have made their debut.
As well as this summertime favorite: watermelon.
I can't say that I'm disappointed. I'm not a big fan of summer.
Now, if only Caroline's soccer coach would catch on to the telepathic messages I'm trying to send to him, encouraging him to cancel practice. So far he hasn't responded.
Funny enough, Craig isn't usually receptive to my mental telepathy efforts, either.
Huh?
I'll have to work on that.

I know it is Un-American, but I can't stand watermelon. Ick.
You don't have to give up your citizenship, or anything. Craig doesn't like watermelon, either. I'll let it slide.
