Remember a few weeks ago when I complained like a big old princess about having to make a choice between two TV stands? White girl problems and such. Well, you'll be quite relieved to know that not only did I make a decision (the more expensive one that matches my furniture), but I also ordered it, dragged all of its heavy parts up the stairs and put it together.
please ignore that strange sticky blotch on the left side; I didn't notice it until after I uploaded the pictures; it's gone now |
Now your life can go on.
And so can mine.
Maybe.
Can you see me? |
Honestly though, anything is better than our former make shift TV stand. A very old, very beat up nightstand covered with a table cloth. Trust me, it wouldn't have made the cover of Better Homes and Gardens.
Clearly this is all superfluous detail, but I do find great satisfaction in getting rid of our shabby (NOT shabby chic) junk and replacing it with more grown up things.
Next up: a new laundry hamper. Something stylish (if possible) and not plastic.
Let the shopping/debate/ridiculous over thinking begin!

I really like that and I am looking for a similar one for my bedroom. Do you mind telling me where you bought it?
Sure, I bought it from Target.com. I'm sure there are some pricier ones at real furniture stores, but I like Target and Target's prices.

Yikes, that's a long link!
It was $200 with free shipping; you have to put it together, but it's pretty simple. The pieces just kind of slide into place.
Hope this helps!
Awesome! Thanks so much.
